JIWON HAN + TOM PERLMAN | CREATIVE DIRECTOR
A veteran of the jewelry industry, J. Han has spent most of her career creating intricately designed pieces crafted from 18K gold and fine stones. Her essential aesthetic has always been to blend cerebral concepts with universal themes, whether it be the illusory properties of time or the sentience of the ocean. She was nominated for "Best New Designs in Gold Jewelry" by the World Gold Council in 2007 and 2008. Her work has been shown internationally, including exhibits at Galerie Artsenal (Paris, France), Gallerie Tiller (Vienna, Austria), and Gana Art Gallery (Seoul, South Korea). Fans of her previous collections include Donatella Versace, Kate Winslet and Taylor Swift, just to name a few.
In her free time, J.Han also teaches her craft at the 92Y in Manhattan to a group of both aspiring and veteran jewelers. She has garnered much love from her students, some taking her class for 20+ years!
In this iteration jHan is joined by partner Tom Perlman in creating series of jewelry collections based on a popular themes to a broader audience.
